 The Dunlap Water Treatment Plant operates a 2.0 MGD plant.

Raw water is drawn from the Sequatchie River and pumped through a 16" raw water main to a 7.5 million gallon raw storage basin. The raw water is then coagulated and treated through an upflow clarifier and mixed media filtered. After filtration the finished water is filter again through carbon contactors.

Disinfection and fluoridation are the last two processes before the water is placed in the .5 mg clearwell.
